This is an excellent opportunity to join Stanford Healthcare and the opening of our new hospital.The New Stanford HospitalStanford Health Care is adding more beds, private rooms, state-of-the-art operating suites, expanded emergency services and the flexibility the hospital needs to adapt to advancing technologies and more streamlined services.The new Stanford Hospital will deliver a model of coordinated care that's built around the unique physical and emotional needs of each patient. Designed by the internationally recognized firm Rafael Viñoly Architects, the new 824,000-square-foot facility will feature amenities and services focused on the health and well-being of patients, as well as the most advanced diagnostic, therapeutic and surgical technologies. It will house an additional 368 beds, bringing the total to 600 on site, and the new Emergency Department will have twice the floor space of the current facility. The building will be connected to the current hospital by a bridge and tunnel.The new hospital will feature natural light, rooftop gardens, and the latest innovations in green technology to reduce the hospital's environmental impact.The Stanford IONM service is seeking qualified individuals to perform complex multi-modality Intraoperative Neuromonitoring studies including EEG, EMG, and all Evoked Potentials (SEP, BAER, VER, MEP) during neurosurgical, vascular, orthopedic, and otolaryngology surgeries. The position will perform direct cortical stimulation in functional mapping studies to determine sensormotor and language cortex and cranial nerve stimulation. Qualified applicants with criminal convictions will be considered after an individualized assessment of the conviction and the job requirements.Job Qualifications:Education* High school diploma or GED equivalent.* Graduate of an Electroneurodiagnostic technology program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation and/or equivalent formal training approved by the Medical Director.Experience* Eighteen (18) months of progressively responsible and directly related work experienceLicense/Certifications* Registration by the American Board of Registration of EEG and EP Technologist (ABRET) in:* Electroencephalography (EEG), or* Evoked Potentials (EP), or* Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring (CNIM)Credential from Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technicians (BRPT) as Registered Polysomnographic Technicians (RPSGT), orCertification from the American Association of Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists (AAET) in Nerve Conduction Studies- Electromyography (EMG)
